Documentation Writer

We are seeking a full-time Documentation Writer to join our growing team and help to oversee product documentation at Enclave.

Job description

This position is an opportunity for a content creator interested in the InfoSec space to write content for consumption by that community, and educate people about the ZTNA (Zero Trust Network Access) industry.

Enclave helps people connect all of their computers, servers, cloud instances and containers together across any infrastructure with effortless Zero Trust Network Access.

This role will include the production of deeply technical product documentation for our audience of engineers, developers and Devops practitioners.

You will work closely with our users and product team to define a documentation roadmap, publish engaging content, and work with our technical authors to create content to help our customers onboard quickly, expertly navigate the product and find compressive answers to their questions.

Enclave is a technical product and good documentation makes it easy for everyone (from hobbyists to professionals) to use. As the first team member in this dedicated role you’ll need to ensure our documentation is accessible, straightforward, comprehensive, and trustworthy to a wide audience.

You will

  • Help to organise our documentation and make it easily discoverable
  • Achieve and maintain content quality through testing and review
  • Work with our product team to document new features and APIs
  • Ensure documentation is up to date and relevant through regular refresh cycles and performance analysis
  • Share feedback and collaborate with our product and growth teams to improve feature discoverability
  • Assess documentation success through metrics and qualitative analysis

It’s beneficial if you have

  • Experience with user interface or interaction design
  • Experience creating automated documentation tools
  • Experience with information architecture projects
  • Experience working with APIs and Devops automation tooling and Infrastructure as Code

Success means

  • You have a systematic content creation process and can meet deadlines
  • Your content helps to increase our net promoter score
  • Your content helps to increase product sign-ups
  • Your content is praised as clear and comprehensive by our customers
