We are looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to support the Sales & Business Development. This role will require desk based prospect building, marketing, enquiry handling and sales process support including demonstrations, proof of concept trials and customer workshops.

We are a funded scale-up and recruiting a Technical Sales Engineer for this role, with salary commensurate to experience and proficiency.
Your role and team

Emerging terms ranging from Black Cloud and Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) to more established concepts like Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) and Software Defined Perimeters (SDP) starting to slowly move market thinking in our direction; that is, away from complex, rigid, hardware and software networking to more streamlined, secure, elegant and agile solutions with competitive solutions emerging from companies like NetFoundry, Cyxtera, Palo Alto Networks and ZScaler.
Our Sales & Business Development team is focussed on the sustainable growth of our market share where our proprietary, patent pending technology has a number of sustainable and competitive advantages making it simpler to use, easier to deploy and more scalable and cost effective than our competition.
As a member of the team, you'll be responsible for:
Helping to progress and close existing pipeline opportunities and identifying, progressing and closing new customers.
Providing technical pre-sales subject matter expertise and sales support throughout all stages of the sales cycle and support our customers in their integration and adoption of Enclave.
Develop and present to customers technical system solutions and associated sales proposals.
Provide frontline technical support in sales presentations, product demonstrations and system installations.
Capture customer and market requirements for the Product & Engineering team to influence product investment and technical roadmap.
Assist your team in closing complex technical sales.
Provide pre-sales technical leadership.
Respond to customer enquiries and questions, creating documentation and solution designs where appropriate
Helping to identify customer needs and capability gaps in our platform and working closely with the Product & Engineering team to define solutions, capturing feedback and requirements to help shape future releases, enhancements and solutions.
As a Technical Sales Engineer you will be supporting our Sales & Business Development with pre-sales functions, helping to build and close our sales pipeline, translating early contact with customers into purchase orders and regular recurring revenue. We have a huge market to address and need your help to focus activity on developing a solid customer base.

Essential skills for this role
You must be able to juggle a number of activities and focus on delivering results.
You must be sociable and be able to relate to a range of customers from owner/managers to middle ranking executives to C level senior management.
You must understand the sale process from identifying prospects through to closing a purchase order.
You will be creative and questioning and able to assess what works and what doesn’t work.
You must be fluent in English.
You must hold a valid international passport.
You are fluent or proficient in another major non-English European languages.
You hold a full UK or internationally recognised drivers license.
